M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy

20:01 6/9/2007 UTC

Sky cleared a bit unexpectly for me and I decided to go imaging. I had no plans for the evening, so I turned my telescope into my traditional autumn target, M31. Light pollution is a bit of a problem here, I really want to try this from the dark site sometime. I had forgot to charge my battery pack and I had to end the session a bit early. 31/8/2008: I reprocessed this image in Nebulosity.
