I've always had some sort of problems with lacking inside focus. Last time I got away by changing to a bit shorter focuser. After that I had like 1-2mm focus left. Gerd Neumann had machined me a new nosepiece adapter which has a few millimeters thicker collar and I needed additional inside focus to use that adapter. I thought I've had it with always so tight fittings and decided to cut the tube 30mm shorter. Now I should have enough focus to accommodate any future needs.
