NGC6992 - The Eastern Veil
18:36 23/9/2006 UTC
< Previous Next >Greetings from DS-Meet, which was held in URSA Observatory in Artjärvi! During the whole weekend, weather was excellent. Second night was even pretty dry and dew didn't get me during the exposure. While filters wouldn't have been needed under Artjärvi's dark sky (LM 6.7), UHC helped reduce the bright starfields in Milky Way. Equipment worked like charm and I am pretty much satisfied with the result. The atmosphere in the happening was fantastic, nothing beats stargazing next to the observatory tower under bright Milky Way!
