Mars

After a long cloudy period we had a clear sky. There was some haze, but at least Mars was visible through the haze. I had hard time obtaining this image. First I screwed up with the filters and took 540nm solar continuum filter. Nothing special at that wavelenght... After selecting the correct filter I underexposed the IR image by mistake. There were those strange patterns again... However, seeing wasn't that bad and for the long time it was fun to see Mars again! I also tried to image the Martian moons again, but the growing distance and lousy transparency did the job hiding the moons from ToUCam.
