M52 and The Bubble Nebula

< Previous Next >Boy, did I have hard time with this. Like it wasn't hard enough for my neck to find this from Zenith, my tube collided with the tripod in third exposure. So, EQ tango and back to square one training PEC. After two hours of wrestling with the equipment I finally got started with the exposures. But in the end, tracking was fantastic! I got 30% rejected frames but the rest was just amazing. Original image has excellent resolution considering the mount it was taken with. Bubble Nebula got out quite fine, but as expected, only a little of Ha was captured. Instead the OIII component is well defined.
