M13 - The Great Hercules Cluster

19:06 16/9/2005 UTC

Full moon means time for bright globular clusters to me. M13 is the most impressive visual target in northern sky and I wanted to try my eight incher to it with PEC. I really had fun taking this image. No computer involved and PEC was working flawlessly. I just sat next to my setup sipping some red wine and listened to the silence with occasional snaps of camera starting new sub exposure. There is also a faint galaxy in this image, NGC6207.
