Mars

< Previous Next >This morning the seeing was totally different from my previous Mars imaging session. Visually I was able to see south polar cap easily and some dark surface markings using 500X magnification and #21 filter. As previously, I took RGB and IR shots with IR pass and block filters to compose an IrRGB image (right). I am pretty happy with the results! I just can't wait until it is high in the sky and almost two times larger in apparent diameter later this year!
