< Previous Next >This is my first image with Baader Continuum narrowband (540nm) filter. I don't have Solar filter for my Orion Europa, so I decided to try ST80 for solar imaging. By using Continuum it effectively makes the system monochromatic and eliminates any chromatic aberration problems. So it was possible to use higher magnifications. I think the image came out pretty nice! The filter does also enhance contrast in sunspots and faculae. It was also excellent visually!
